Regional Governance, Collaboration, and Place Interview

During the recent Our Way Forward: Sharing Knowledge and Building Capacity for Regional Development conference Dr. Gibson participated in a radio/webinar interview on regional governance. The interview with Dr. Kelly Vodden was live broadcast on radio in the Northern Peninsula region during the conference and has been recently posted online. The discussion focused on how communities can explore regional governance models to address regional opportunities and challenges, the importance of understanding place, and the role of collaboration in regional development. Much of the discussion emerged from research taken place through the multi-year Canadian Regional Development research initiative funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
